How is my Billing Rate decided? Can I propose my own Billing Rate?

You can propose your hourly billing rate for participation in the Engagements, at the time of signing-up. However given that the billing rate plays an important role in the selection of profile/s by the Clients, we may guide you in finalization of your hourly billing rate that is in line with your experience, subject-matter expertise and industry standards.

Am I expected to deliver all the Client requests that are shared with me?

You have the option to assess the Client requests upfront and accept/decline a request for any reason. Only once you confirm a request will we share your profile with the Client for that specific request.

How often will I receive Client requests?

Accepted Answer

How often you receive requests is a function of the type of requests we receive from the Clients, your profile’s suitability for those requests as well as your availability for participation. Our team shall reach out to you with proposal/s to participate in these requests, whenever your experience matches with the Client requirements. To ensure that you get more Client requests, please keep your profile up-to-date, as well as reply quickly to any proposals, queries or questions from our team.

Is there any commitment on the minimum number of requests that I will be required to deliver?

There is no commitment on the minimum number of requests that you will be asked to deliver. As highlighted in the previous question, you have the option to assess the Client requests upfront and accept/decline a request for any reason. Only once you confirm a request will we share your profile with the Client for that specific request.

Am I expected to meet the Client in-person for delivery of the requests?

Most of the short-term requests are delivered over phone or email, while few may involve in-person meeting with the Clients or visiting a specified venue/location. Projects may involve on-site/virtual delivery as per the requirement. In case you are unavailable or not keen to participate in any requests that involve in-person meetings or at-venue/on-site delivery, you can choose to opt-out of them.

Are Expert details / source of information disclosed by the Clients in their reports/research work? What if I am information pertaining to my current employer or a confidential topic?

We have strict agreements with our Clients, which ensure that your name or any personal details are not disclosed or quoted by the Clients without prior permission & consent. Additionally, you are not expected to discuss any information that directly pertains to your current employer. Our Clients understand and agree to this; however if any Client still persists, you should discontinue the request delivery and inform us immediately.
